The Classic Storage Bunk Bed with Integrated Bookshelf brings together the familiar practicality of a traditional bunk bed with storage that works harder for your family. Available as Standard Single over Standard Single or King Single over King Single, it is built to order in Melbourne with the configuration, height and finish that best suit your home.
The full-height bookshelf is integrated into the end of the bed, while the space beneath the lower bunk can remain open or be fitted with an optional trundle bed or storage drawers. It is a thoughtful solution for shared bedrooms where sleeping, storage and everyday flexibility all matter.

This is more than a small shelf added to the side of a bunk bed. The full-height bookshelf is designed into the bed itself, giving you generous room for books, toys, display items and everyday essentials without needing another freestanding bookcase in the bedroom.
Because it is accessed from outside the bed, the storage stays convenient for the whole room. Its top surface also provides a useful bedside table for the upper bunk—ideal for a drink bottle, night light or favourite bedtime book.
This model is uniquely available in two heights. Choose the standard-height version, with the top mattress base approximately 1350mm from the floor, or select the lower-height version, with the top mattress base approximately 1240mm from the floor.
The lower-height option gives families another way to tailor the bunk bed to their children's needs while still enjoying the same practical storage and flexible under-bed options.

How This Design Came About
This design began with a customer looking for a traditional bunk bed who asked a simple question: could we incorporate a proper full-height bookshelf as well?
Rather than attaching shelves to the side of the bed, we redesigned the structure so the bookshelf became an integral part of it. The back and sides of the bookshelf also serve as structural elements of the bunk bed, making efficient use of the available space while retaining the clean, familiar look of a classic bunk.
It is the kind of practical solution that can come from designing and manufacturing furniture locally: a real customer request becomes a design that goes on to help many other families.
