Designed for children who are ready for the excitement of a loft bed but are still quite young, this clever design keeps the mattress at a practical everyday height while creating valuable storage and activity space underneath.
It is often chosen as a child moves from a cot or toddler bed. The practical height makes changing sheets and helping with bedtime routines easier, while the space below can evolve from a favourite cubby into a creative area and, later, a study space.

Most families choose a Standard Single or King Single model, but some customers have asked for the same clever Spacesaver design with a larger sleeping area for teenagers, guest rooms or adults. In response, we developed a special Double-size modification that can be ordered together with this bed.
The Double version retains the same core Spacesaver concept, including the pull-out desk and under-bed storage, while providing a larger sleeping area. How This Design Came About
Our original Spacesaver Loft Bed family was created to give younger children the excitement of a loft bed while making much better use of the space underneath.
As families began using the beds, many discovered that the area beneath the loft naturally became a cubby or play space before eventually becoming a homework and study area. The flexible pull-out desk made that change possible without replacing the bed.
This compact model was later developed after customers asked for a smaller version of the original design that occupied less floor space while still providing the same flexible desk concept. The result is our most compact and best-value Spacesaver Loft Bed.
