The same successful Spacesaver concept, with Easy Climb Steps positioned at the bed end for families whose room works best with a long-wall layout.
Many customers loved the original Spacesaver Loft Bed but asked for a version with the Easy Climb Steps at the end rather than the front. The result is a layout that works beautifully when the bed runs along a long wall while retaining the same low sleeping height, generous storage and movable pull-out desk.
It is often chosen as a child moves from a cot or toddler bed. The practical height makes changing sheets and helping with bedtime routines easier, while the furniture beneath the loft can evolve from a favourite cubby into a creative area and, later, a study space.

Many families choose this bed while their child is still quite young. At first, the pull-out desk does not even need to be assembled. With the desk left out, the space beneath the loft naturally becomes a fun cubby or hiding place that many children love.
As your child grows, that same space can become an area for drawing, Lego and craft, then a desk for homework and eventually a practical study area. The furniture evolves with your child instead of needing to be replaced.
The desk is completely independent of the loft bed and rolls on its own castors. It can remain neatly stored beneath the loft, be pulled fully out whenever it is needed or even be positioned elsewhere in the room.
Two shelves beneath the desktop provide additional storage for books, craft supplies and everyday study items. This flexibility lets the bedroom adapt as your child’s interests and routines change.
Many customers asked whether the Easy Climb Steps could be moved to the end of the bed. This layout works particularly well where the bed sits along a long wall, creating a different traffic flow through the room without changing the successful Spacesaver concept.
Moving the steps to the end also creates space for an additional open shelf beneath the loft. It gives families another layout choice based on the shape of their bedroom, rather than suggesting that one step position is better than the other.
Storage has been considered throughout this design: a centre cupboard, drawers beneath every step, an additional open shelf and the movable desk with its own shelves. Together, these elements provide a home for toys, books, clothing and study items without relying as heavily on extra furniture around the room.
By combining these functions within one low loft design, the bed helps create a bedroom that feels organised, flexible and ready to change as your child grows.

Most families choose a Standard Single or King Single model, but some customers have asked for the same clever long-wall layout with a larger sleeping area for teenagers, guest rooms or adults. In response, we developed a special Double-size modification that can be ordered together with this bed.
The Double version retains the same core Spacesaver concept, including the pull-out desk, Easy Climb Steps and under-bed storage, while providing a larger sleeping area. It is another example of the flexibility that comes from buying directly from the manufacturer rather than choosing from a fixed range of standard sizes.

How This Design Came About
This model was developed after families asked for what became known internally as the long-wall layout. Many bedrooms suited having the Easy Climb Steps positioned at the end of the bed rather than along the front.
Rather than redesigning the entire bed, we reconfigured the storage and step layout while retaining the successful Spacesaver concept: the same low-height sleeping position, movable pull-out desk and Easy Climb Steps, in a layout better suited to different bedroom shapes.
The Front Steps and End Steps models are alternative layouts, allowing families to choose the version that best suits their room while retaining the practical features that make the Spacesaver family so useful.
